Happy 4th Birthday PhrozenFlame.com! And an awesome 2008 to you all!
Will be site updates over the next 24 hours, and theres currently a bug in the submission system that will be fixed shortly. Edit: Bug fixed, content and site updates still coming!
First up we have something about halo, since it was released today (I think?)- Halo: Future of Gamng, and this one from alexlabbe, Halo: Lost in Time; Check out alex's first though.
Next we have two of the funniest youtube vids i've seen in a while: Bush vs Zombies, and Fight for Kisses. In more youtube videoland, we have some very talented people, an acappella doing nintendo tunes and this guy who can play music with his hands! If you think it starts out good, just wait for the tetris acting ;)
In site news, brennan has been busy converting the EgoCity videos into format playable on a flash, will post a link soon, if not keep your eyes peeled on the ipstudios site.
Now for our segment of whacky news stories: Google generally has pretty crazy ideas, but their new competition aims for the moon! Thats right, build a ship, land it on the moon and win 30 million.. yes thats going to happen someday >.> We also have the australian army giving away free tanks. Then theres this cop who was being a jackass to a kid, but got video taped doing it and is now suspended =)
Last but not least we have the greatest puppet show on earth, definately click it!
It's been a while since the last update so sorry about that, but i'll try to catch up on all the posts I missed. Since Transformers are upon us, i'm going to start with threetransformervids (each of those were a different link); I think the last one is probably the coolest out of the three.
Next we have POWERTHIRST, the most ultimate energy drink. (Also the most ultimate youtube vid of the week)
Also if you can read tiny tiny things, check out guimp, the world's smallest website. It comes complete with pacman and a playable piano!
Lastly dutch students have developed powdered alcohol, and heres a showcase of the world's largest digger (wow!).
So it's been a little while since I posted last and the pile of stuff to post about is getting a bit big. First of all I have an exciting announcement to make and thats that Kaos is back, and hes finished Megaman X OLB ep. 8, which I know people were asking for on the forums, and it will be up shortly. Also, You should all check out alexlabbe's new vid Prehistorik: Episode 2.
Now onto the funny viral vids going round- First we have Zeroes which is a parody of one of my fav shows, Heroes. Then theres a video of a belgian talk show host interviewing a person who had his testicles removed by accident, pretty funny. Then theres two youtube vids, ones a dave chappelle clip thats funny as and a vid of someone on a treadmill.
Now onto the world of bizarre, funny and interesting news articles- Theres one about sixth graders who had sex in class, a computer tech accidently deleting an account worth $48 billion when doing maintenence, and a grieving couple who commited suicide after their dog died. Finally theres one article about even more old people playing the Wii and what microsoft got upto on PS3's release night.
Somewhere hidden deep inside a physics lab on a secluded island, unknown to the rest of the world, a physicist yells a triumphant 'ah-ha!'. A spectacular beam of light bursts out of a photon thruster, and a space fighter breaks a hole through the lab walls, zooming into space at the speed of light. Space Invaders begins.
Well not really, but we're getting that much closer :O It even *looks* cool
This week's topic is mostly on game related stuff; A few interesting articles have been posted lately. Gamepro's done one on Gaming Myths, where they've tryed to disagree with 14 of them, it's good, though i dont agree with them on the PC-FPS thing- i'm definately pc-biased. Gamasutra have done an article on games that have changed the way we think about multiplayer. Theres also a cool study thats been done suggesting that surgeons who play videogames are more skilled. In other news, HL2 episode 2 has been delayed again, now to 3rd quarter this year.
Ofcourse what gaming post would be complete without more news about the Wii, this time with old people in retirement homes playing it. Also, someones started working on a mod to use the Wii-mote with normal PCs, in a mod for HL2.
Last but not least is this weeks youtube links people sent me- Punchy and Robot Chicken: Grand Theft Mario. The second is a lot funnier than the first for me, but depends on your humor ;)
The company that hosts us was retiring the server we were on so they moved us to a new server and some settings are different, more than that there have been patchy periods today whilst we were being transfered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused everyone though it was really out of our hands. Also we're trying to fix all the parts of the site that were broken under the new settings so if you see anything broken can you please let us know and we'll get right on it. We're trying to fix it all but we don't always spot everything thats broken. Leave comments to this post please, thanks.
Update: All systems SHOULD now be go, remember to let us know about any problems you find
Oh my gawd. This demo is mad, it came out lastnight so go download it now, but this game will be absolutely awesome. I was a bit apprehensive at first since i'm a longtime c&c series fan and i was worried they may mess it up, but they did well. It feels just like the old c&c and a bit of red alert =D Download. Play. Pre-Order.
Decided to make a short summary of the whole 'box' viral- back in December Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg (from SNL) made a video about a special xmas box, which was as funny as hell. And then a girl, made a spoof 'My Box in a Box' which was even funnier. Then they revelead the girl was actually 2 girls and then the Box sold itself on eBay for $1,525. If you never saw any of it, go watch now ^_^
In other youtube viral news, theres the Phone Experiment, something about Bush, and How Women Treat Men. If you're looking for something thats just plain wierd then theres this news story.
I also thought this guy is awesome, and I thought I already made a post about him but looks like I missed a week. Going into the retro side of things theres someone playing with old printers, people using shiny helmets, aaand the remanants of the old atari console. Last but not least, I leave you with strangeness of having a National Public Toilet Map- thats Australia for ya.
So my friend linked me a lil while ago and it cracked me up for ages. Its a short vid about animals that are better than you, watch it, now.. or it'll eat you. Then theres this video about sulphur hexafluoride, at first its not that cool, but watch the floating bit at the end and be amazed.
Also on the list of cool, is the Human Clock, basically they have pictures of people with the time written manually for every minute of the day, pretty funky. Last but not least I got told about the MonkeySphere, its interesting so take a look.
So I thought i'd make an update about all the links people have sent me the last week or two.. and I think i'll probably keep doing it every few weeks. First up is a Zazz.com.au its this site with a sorta unique way of selling things- they sell one cool thing a day, they ussually get it cheaper than most places you'll find because they get it in bulk, but they only sell one product a day. It could sell out before 1 am, it could stay til 9 at night, but they are ussually pretty cool. Todays was a usb mp3 pen, I missed out unfortunately.
Then theres this guy selling his life on ebay. And heres holden (car company) advertising on a air blimp, with a giant **76 foot** digital screen, tell me you have seen a tv that big before =O. Finally, more news from the wii folk- you've all heard everyone comment on maybe using it as excersize, and now heres proof.
Thats right, we've been up on the internet for 3 whole years =D And what a fun 3 years it has been. We've changed quite a lot from what we started with, and grown quite a bit. Some of you who have been with us since the beginning (and we love you so much!) may remember this- what we looked like in our first year.
Some awesome facts- over the last 3 years, we have had over 2.3 million visitors (you heard me, MILLION), over 1200 flash and games, nearly 13 thousand forum posts and over 3200 members! And we couldn't have done any of that without you, so thank you, and we hope you keep visiting us for years to come =)
So congratulations to deucenine, lenz, true_darkness, hadouken_dude, samuraijazz, and stooge. Winners will be contacted about their prizes via email.
We also have some exciting news for everyone, we've opened the PhrozenFlame.com store. Go check out all the funky products available. Prices are what they are because thats what CafeShops.com charges to make them, commision is very low so we aren't trying to rip you off- we just want you to have cool stuff =D. As part of the birthday celebrations I sent off PF T-Shirts to all the studios we host (our staff in a way :P). Since these were the first ones made they didn't turn out as good as i'd hoped but we'll be putting some pictures of us wearing them soon, so watch out ;)
Also as part of the bday updates, we're opening the profile pages (in beta) so everyone can see- take a look at your profile page on the link on the left (when logged in). Or if you're lazy you can see someexamples of other peoples. A few of the features like the Gallery aren't available yet, but hopefully sometime next week we plan to update this. We will also be releasing another skin (much better looking), where you can customize your page soon hopefully too. Currently you can blog, view basic profile info and sign a guestbook.
To support the profile pages, we had to make a new submission console, aptly named Console2 =P It will be the new hub for updating everything to do with your account in the future, and can currently manage your flash and your profile info. A more exciting part of this is the Collab Tool (also in beta), where we provide some webspace for you and your friends to be able to work together on a project. It currently lets you upload files, make a todolist and post text updates. The collab tool will be improved and explained in more detail (probably with a short guide) in weeks to come.
Well its christmas time so we wish you all some very happy holidays. And if you get time between your relatives and your presents, we have stuff for you to take a look at =P Heres some flash to enjoy, some new, some old, but they're all good and go with the xmas theme =)
I also have a few links to share which people have sent to me over the past few weeks. The first is about what people seem to have done with the Wii; now that console is a LOT of fun to play with a few friends, as long as you dont break your tv. Also these guys have drilled through a laptop for the sake of it. And finally the most hillarious starwars-related video ive seen in a long time- George Lucas in Love; It might be a bit old but its still great to watch.
Oh and time is running out to get your entries in for the Flash Festival, so get a move on if you plan on entering =P
Okay summer hols are here now (for me at least), its' winter for most of you I think. Regardless, I thought it was a good time to get back to updating. I've got a bunch of links i've been told about to share on here. First off is Basshunter's videos/music, hes a swedish singer/dj and his music and videos are very net-influenced :P You'll know what I mean when you see it.
Then there is a fundraiser site where you design snowflakes (its a flash site) for charity, i think they are aiming to get something like 4 million snow flakes, at which point the company will donate $5000 to charity. It doesn't cost anything so just go help out, only takes a second. There has also been a lot of funny videos going around, such as FastFood Freestyle on youtube. Also check out this funny phone call with a telemarkter =) Finally, this video certainly brings back memories of the days when everyone went on chatrooms, and this guy shows off an awesome job of drawing a car in MS Paint- a must see.
Since its hols, expect some work on the site soon. And if you haven't read up on the competition we're running, check that too. We've had a few entries already, though I wont feature them til the comp closes. In more local content, take a look at this trailer-
For those of you who haven't heard that a sequel to this is coming out, you are slow. For everyone else, I found some more reason for you to be excited about it =D C&C3 is set to feature an all-star cast for all its live action cut-scenes, the original actor for Kane is back ofcourse, but to fill all the other roles in the game, there are actors who have stared in Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Starship Troopers, Wedding Crashers, Top Gun and theres even a former Miss Universe winner in it. You can read up on the details here.
I for one am a huge fan of the series and can't wait til they release it.
Huh? Flash Festival? Yes folks it's approaching the end of 2006 and we at PF wanted to put something special together to reward the community that keeps this site running. In previous years we have presented the PhrozenFlame Best Of awards, sadly this will not happen for 2006; instead we will be running the all new Flash Festival 2006!
This year your favourite flash authors can submit their work to the flash festival, after which a shortlist will be generated for your voting convenience! Prizes will be awarded based on such and such over several categories totalling at nearly $200! So if you're an author, get working!
Entries close on 28th of December 2006 12AM EST ready for the community to begin voting on 2nd of January 2007! Interested? Find out more
James Farr Studios has finished making the newest installment of Xombie, "Death Under Wraps". Xombie is one of the best animated flash series i've seen and is one of my favs. Go watch the new ep here. They've also started a new comic strip series with the same storyline, check that out here.
The old rating system was a bit dodgey in the sense that it wasn't spam proof, anyone could just repeatedly click a vote and mess up a flash's rating. Anyway, i've now reset all the ratings and changed the process. You can now only vote if you are logged in, and you can only vote once for each flash per 24 hrs. Also, the rating isn't determined until there is at least 5 votes on it. Were also going to be releasing a tool to help people make collabs in the next few weeks =)
In some more interesting news, a friend linked me this article about a lady having a lightning bolt go through her mouth and then out her ass o.0. Also, check out Pandora, it's this really cool music site that generates a playlist of songs you can listen to (for free!) based on what a song or band that you name sounds like.
For the Battlefield fans out there, you should check out the new demo for 2142. Its available for download from most gaming sites, such as Internode (for australian fans).
Anyway, the game is pretty cool, it has changed quite a bit from BF2. In the new TitanMode for example, there is a lot more emphasis on teamwork for you to win. Also, most of the vehicle weapons are specific now, so you can't really use the same gunport to kill infantry as to destroy other vehicles. And the classes have now been combined down to 4, so for example the Aussault/SpecOps/Medic classes are now just Assault and the Engineer/Anti-Tank is now just Engineer. I like the futuristic take (especially the Drop Pods) the game has taken though, but don't take my word for it just download it and have a look yourself.
I've decided to put up news posts more often and do it the way we did when we first started the site, with updates about everything, not just flash and site news.
Today I want to mention Defcon, it came out a week or two ago and I have to say its pretty fun. If you've seen that 1983 classic movie WarGames then you'll know what this game is about. Basically its a simulation of thermonuclear war; a strategy game, not turn based but not quite real time either. Its pretty fun, and the game's tagline "Everybody Dies" is pretty accurate. Go download the demo and have a look yourself =)
Just to let you know, samuraijazz has just finished his site so you can check it out at
Most of you should know him from the devilslayer series. Also, you guys should check out Lenz and Brennan's new flash- this time a rpg attempt with EC.
Sorry for the slow speed at which news posts are coming, but don't worry, most of the things that are being updated and worked on are behind the scenes stuff at the back of the site. The submission console is currently being re-worked so you can do more things like manage series of flash and edit your profile pages (when they are released). Amongst such updates is the ability to delete comments; you can now go and clean up the comments to your flash if you are a) a mod or b) the person who submitted the flash =)
Anyway, back to actual content updates, i'd just want to make sure you all watch the Snakes on a Plane flash as I think it does an awesome job of mocking the movie :P Though I saw the actual movie as well a few days ago and it was surprisingly a lot better than I thought! Apart from that I also want to plug Command & Conquer 3, which has been getting talked about a bit lately- its the newest addition to one of my fav. series of pc games ever.
To finish up, heres some more flash from recent times..
I've added a new section for all the Scored Games we have on the site- click here to go play some now. We also have a new scored game on the site- Paper Asteroids.
I'll leave you with some new flash submitted from the past week or so-
Well it's been a while since we updated the Studios page and we've added a few new people since so heres an overview. First of all the two people who have submitted the most games to this site are now being hosted by us too (you all know them for games like Mario's Adventure and StarBash); Please welcome..
We are also hosting several other new people, studios and projects: Joint-Productions is practically dead, so RubberNinja opened his own site- rubbter-ninja.com. Knightkid (whom you all know for his anime music-videos) has a page for his studio too, though its still under construction- htstudio. We are also hosting wksyndicate and alexlabbe's podcast ConsoleRadio. I've added my friend's site (MiracleBlue) to the links on the left too, he is a electronica music artist so if you want some trance-like music for your games and videos feel free to contact him.
Just a short update to let you know the register has been fixed. Someone emailed me earlier today letting me know about it, apologies to anyone who was experiencing problems trying to register before. I believe it broke when we upgraded the forums...
In other news, the user profile pages will be up hopefully in the next 3 weeks or so =D. Don't want to give too much away just yet, but expect something along the lines of your own blogs :P
Edit: There was something wrong with the forum tables the past few days, thats been fixed now too. Thanks to users who let me know of this :)
As some of you may have noticed, the forums were down for the last week or two due to some idiot defacing it. We had to take it down for a while to upgrade it, hopefully he won't be back. Anyway, heres a selection of some flash from the last month or so-
We have outgrown our bandwidth once again, so we bought a 3rd place to host all your lovely swf files :P If you've found the site slow or anything lately then that shouldn't be a problem anymore.
As for other updates, they're on their way, work is slowly trickling through- be patient :) I leave you with a few flash from the last month or two--
Just a little update to let you guys know about the ManiaTv Film Festival. They held it last year and it was pretty successful so they have decided to make it an annual event :)
They are accepting videos in the following categorys:
1. Student Films - 1 to 30 minutes
2. Live Action Shorts - 1 to 30 minutes
3. Animated Shorts - 1 to 15 minutes
4. Foreign Films - 1 to 20 minutes
There are over $5000 in cash and prizes to be won so don't miss out on this chance. The deadlines for the films are as follows:
Early Bird - January 27th
Regular - March 3rd
Late - May 5th
Extended - May 26th
Click here for more information, you can also check out last year's winners there too.
Thats right! PhrozenFlame just officially turned *two*! Woohoo, we'd blow out the candles but we're frozen... and well... a flame, so it'd kind of be betraying ourselves :P. Anyway, enough of that- the birthday is also the day where we announce the winners of the Best of 2005 Flash Awards :)
And they are *drumroll*.........:
The votes were pretty close but those were the top 5- So Congratulations to the winners! You can still view the nominees here. As an added bonus, we'll be mailing the authors a small paypal donation. The prizes for next year will be much better, and we will split it up into categories next time, so authors- keep submitting your flashes, and viewers- remember to come back regularly and watch more flash! Thanks to everyone for voting.
We have another exciting year ahead of us, and many new flash to watch out for, but we would never have made it here as a site without you- our users! So thank you.
PS. The newsletter will be mailed out tonight, so watch out for that too- it has info on a great new addition to PF that will be put into place sometime in the near future.
Dizimz's new game is coming out very soon, and I can tell you personally that it is really big. I was told if you complete the game it can last for upto 3-4 hours or so; but don't worry, theres a save option so you can pickup where you left off. Read about it here.
We've grown pretty big so we're using more than one host to serve all our flash now. You guys should all be getting much faster speeds, and the load balancing should be working well. But as ussual, if you see something wrong, tell me- preferably by commenting on this news post :)
You probably won't see much difference in the site, but i've changed a lot of the stuff lying underneath to try and fix this bug where people somehow change to being in someone else's account while they were originally logged in their own. Hopefully theres been a difference now and it's been fixed. But if anyone notices it again, please tell me.
In more interesting news, I talked with dizimz and organized a scoreboard for his game Urban Wizard, go play it and try and beat everyone else :P. Soon there will also be a scoreboard for his other game Vitisus Rage, so wait for that.
I've also been working on that new user systam I talked about a few months ago. You will all have your own profile pages, where you can post news (pretty much like a blog), link your favourite flashes, talk about anything you want. There will also be a points system where everyone has a sort of rank. But more on this later.
I still haven't put up that screensaver for PF i mentioned last update, but that'll come on soon, along with a much needed update for the Images section.
Ok, apologies for not putting up a news post in a while, its been over a month since the last. But no more of that, we're still alive! You should see a lot more work being done around the place.
It's ManiaTV's one year birthday! You should go check out the site and look at some of the 1 year specials they have on. Also, we were invited to make them birthday wish animations, so you might seem them around there too. Lenz made this one and Phred made this one.
On that note, i'd like to add that Blackan Productions have finished making their site; so you can go look at that and their newest installment of BW. Also, if you've been reading the forums, you'd know that we have some very exciting things planned...
Like...*drum roll*... THE PHROZENFLAME RPG!! This was Lenz's idea (from IPStudios), its basically your typical kind of RPG game, with a lot of characters from our studios (and the studio's themselves) being invovled. And when i mean a lot, i mean like 8 of the 10 we have with us. You can check out the preview intro for the game here!
I've also made a PF screensaver, but im having problems with the packaging software so i'll put that up in the next news update,
I decided to put up a new newspost since i haven't said anything here in a while. I think first of all i'd like to welcome another studio that has joined us; Grim Studios are the people behind Spaced Out!, a comedy series that should have their second installment out sometime soon.
Also, it appears that ManiaTV is taking off rapidly! They attracted about 1.5 million visitors last month and were recently mentioned in the L.A. Times as well. So congratulations to them.
We have a partnership with their show Too Short For Hollywood, as a lot of you should know, so any flash submitted here gets that extra bit of coverage by being aired there too. (of course you can untick that option when submitting if you didn't want it)
Been lazy to get around to posting this. We have 2 new flash studios, came to us a while ago actually but i forgot to make a news post. I've been also doing work around the site, you'll notice the new automated daily flash posts (like above if there's flash today). And theres also a few new 'featured' spots around the place too. I should really be getting around to updating the images section sometime... probably next post.
14/5/05 - Search, Series and the Submission System
.
Well im continueing on the page updates to the site, but this will probably be the last of those for a short while. After
this, most of the updates will be about flash. I've finally updated the series pages, and you can see them here. You may have noticed that they also now appear in a lil box next to each flash thats in a
series so you can watch the rest of it easier. I've also updated the search pages, so they are much
more useful now. And lastly, i've given the submission system a slighlty better look so its easier to use.
I'm gonna leave you with some flash thats good but went under the radar of the sidebar because a lot of other flash was
coming in aswell at the time.
Yep, the new flash pages have finally arrived, they've been up for about 2 days now if you noticed but i was putting them through public testing and adding a few things related to it before i thought i'd make a news post. Anyway, point is, its here :D
Few things to point out-- flash can now have descriptions attached to it, as well as a content rating (ie. G[eneral audience], M[ature audience] etc..) and if the flash is in a series, it is listed next to it. The content rating (for now) will be judged by just me, so it might be some time before each flash change off from UNR (un-rated). Could all authors who have submitted flash please go and add descriptions to them?
Finally, long-promised parts of the new pages are here too-- such has the ability to post feedback/comments for each flash. And also, author's avatars are shown next to a list of flash they've submitted (sort of a sneak into updates to user system coming soon).
Oh and there should be a lot more new flash coming up, you may have noticed the frequency of new stuff being posted here has increased quite a bit :P
I thought i'd get back to a bit more regular updating since i have the time, and we've had a LOT more flash coming in over a short period of time too.
Firstly i'd like to mention The Zero Factor Intro and the Ego City V - Trailer. The first, from Kaos Productions, is a new shorter series about Zero that Kaos decided to do because he killed zero off so fast in his first series Megaman X OLB. The second is the trailer for IPStudio's long awaited continuation of their EgoCity series. I recommend watching both as their both very good.
Next up, i've updated the XIN series finally because (no one take any offence to this) i forgot all about it, lol. Most of the series is now voiced and episode's 13 & 14 have been released.
Also we have another addition to our set of studios now as 'Blackan Productions' have joined us. They're site is still under construction(/moving) so bare with them while that's done. They made the Brennan's World series and like PhrozenRose, they are also an IPStudios spawn.
Apart from that in terms of flash, we will continue to have episode's of the RedVsBlue series appear probably twice a week-ish, and as mentioned in the last news post, Joint-Productions have a few upcoming flash as well.
Lastly as far as updates to here go, yes the new layout for the flash pages are still coming and im apologize for taking so long with them. When they come the series' page (which some of you may have noticed being down for months now) will be back up with a much better system. After all that's done you can expect an update to the user system and submission console, and finally a re-skin of the forums. But i suspect it might take a while for that to come.
--thavidu
EDIT: i recently remembered the first game ever that we put up here, Tube Racer, and saw how massive the highscore tables have gotten.. take a look for yourself. It's still just as fun too!
First of all, i'd like to apologize for not posting in a while. Two reasons for this, a) I had college/exams, b) I didn't feel the need to pointlessly recap as New Flash was constantly added (look on the side bar ;). But anyway, i have site updates for you, well sort of-- I'd like to introduce 3 new (well it wasn't announced before) additions to our list of Offical flash studios under us. Note: This can always be found on the About page.
Chi-Z Animations:: They bring you the 'Bonzai Bunny' series
Well it's holidays now, so that means time to work on proper site updates (Although i may not get all that much done as i have to go to something that takes up a lot of the holis). Soon you'll finally see the flash pages updated to go with the rest of the site, and much more features added to them-- ie. comments. Comments are already available for the news posts, but its much more useful for the individual flashs' as they provide better feedback.
As far as new flash goes, well just keep watching that sidebar. Oh, and we will also be putting up episodes of "Red vs. Blue" (a funny Halo-based show) every week. The prelude, first and second eps are already up.
James Farr, creator of Xombie, has hit a dream of any flash animator -- his series is now being made into, well, a movie. --a REAL one. Wetsand Animation (along with James Farr ofcourse) have officialy begun production of "Xombie - Dead on Arrival". Congrats to him ;P.
Oh, and the original site for the xombie series is still up.
Ok, near the end of last year, someone from ManiaTV contacted me asking to air our flash. And now after things got sorted, they started airing em a week or two ago. Yay!.
For those of you who haven't heard of ManiaTV before, it is a completely online-based TV station, probably the first. So go check them out, its cool.
Note to all authors: This means that anything submitted here means you get the extra coverage of it being aired there as well. (you can set it to not air if you wish to in the settings, but its aired by default).
Anyway, enough of that, i haven't really posted much in a while, but the flash has sure been coming. I have a few games n images to post up though, so here--
Thats right, its our birthday today, we've been up for a whole year now :D. We started off last year being a pretty small site, and we've grown quite large, to getting over a thousand people a day. We would like to thank you, our members, for without you we couldn't have done it. Thanks also go out to the flash authors out there, for there wouldn't be anything to watch if they weren't here :P.
But enough of that, with it being a whole year, comes the time to pick the Best of 2004. For this year, as it is our first, this may include flash older than from the last year. Also because it is the first, i have picked the flash myself from the top 30 or so in all flash so far. At the end of this year however, it will be *you* voting for the best of 2005, so be sure to come back by then ;). Note: the Best Of awards are listed in no particular order.
We also recommend you to sign up for . It lets you be notified over MSN when new flash is added by using the Microsoft Alert's Service. Its quick and easy, and it also allows you to be notified via email or sms too if you want that.
